Imagine a young girl, waking up early with an inspirational idea, waking her parents with the tapping of the keys while frantically capturing her story on paper. In high school, that girl wrote and designed newsletters for a local garden club, while writing for the school paper and yearbook, and working for the local radio station.
After earning a degree in journalism, she began her career at one of the nation's top newspapers, building a strong foundation in storytelling, writing and editing. As her career evolved, she gained considerable experience and further education in multiple aspects of the communications and marketing industry.
Now, after more than 25 years in nonprofit and for-profit communication and marketing, some call her a 'unicorn.' Her knowledge goes beyond all aspects of a fully-functioning communication team, but also includes nonprofit and foundation development and donor engagement, e-learning development and more.
